Some people are born to lead and gifted with unprecedented skills in creating a compelling and plausible vision and translating it into reality.
Dr. Kahar H. Macasayon exemplifies a person of that sort. He is a leader with a purposeful vision and gets his vision understood, agreed on,
articulated and communicated so everybody knows what he wants the organization to become. And in the course of finding out how that
vision can become real, he comes up to to the conclusion that everybody should be involved in the process.
Being the OIC-Schools Division Superintendent, he finds himself benefiting from a more collaborative approach to management.
For him, being in-charge doesn’t mean absolute power. Instead, he taps people who have the potential, can do fantastic things and accomplish enormous tasks,
and have them help him do the work.
In February 2007, when he was given a much greater responsibility to take charge as the OIC-Schools Division Superintendent,
the division has undergone quite a facelift on his watch since then. The human resources were on top of his priorities.
He lives by the premise that people perform their best when working with and for people who offer genuine support and affection.
He values them more than any other, and gives them vast opportunities to improve and enhance their full potential, and run at a faster speed towards perfection
